Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA) is implementing an e-Governance in Emigration (eMigrate) Project, an IT modernisation project, to induct scalable, modular & comprehensive software solutions. The project aims to bring change in processes & technology to improve overall experience as well as enhance the quality of services to emigrant workers seeking employment abroad. A Program Management Unit (PMU) is proposed to be set up in the Ministry by hiring professionals with excellent track records.
