Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-
 
Job Designation: Senior Hindi Translator
 
Number of Positions: 01 (One)
 
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-2 Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4600/- p.m.
 
Eligibility:
Officers of the Central Government:
(a)(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/Department;or
(ii) With five years regular service in PB-2, in the scale of pay of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
 
Educational Qualification:
(i) Master’s Degree of a recognized University in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a main subject at the degree level;or
(ii) Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject with Hindi as the medium of instruction and examination with English as a compulsory subject at degree level.
 
Desirable Qualification:
(i) Knowledge of Sanskrit and/or modern Indian language.
(ii) Administrative Experience.
 
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of receipt of the applications.
