Teacher and Non Teaching Jobs at Kimberley School, Panchkula

Kimberley, a residential school for boys and girls, is all set to open its doors on the 4th April 2012. Located in picturesque surroundings, 30 km from India’s fastest growing metropolis, Chandigarh, and in the foothills of Shimla Hills, Kimberley will be the first in North India to offer an exclusive International Curriculum. (Proposed Curriculum: PYP- IGCSE and later IBDP)
 
Kimberley will need the finest staff for the school as under:
•Coordinator PYP: Should have been associated with a start up PYP school, done all paper work, corresponded with the Board and obtained affiliation. Capable of developing the PYP curriculum independently, training PYP teachers and staff, ensuring the development of the PYP philosophy.
•Coordinator for IGCSE: Will be responsible for developing and administering the ICSE programmes. This includes coordinating examinations and all communications.
•Academic Staff:Form  Teacher for classes from 3 to 5.
•Subject Teachers :English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economics, Business Studies, Design and technology, Art & Craft, Spanish, Hindi, Punjabi, Information and computer Technology, Global Perspective and International maths. With minimum experience of 3 years in an international residential school, willing to stay on campus and nurture young students.
•Librarian: With a minimum experience of 3 years, a deep understanding of young children, and capability of inspiring them ( in this time of high technology and computers) to take to the art of reading and relishing the written words
•Activity Teachers: Western Music, Indian Music, Dance, Fashion designing and Photography
•PTIs: Both male and female. also a swimming instructor
•Administrative Staff: Head Chef ( capable of running a team of people under him, including a bakery). Accountant, estate Manager, Network Engineer, Resident Nurse ( with at least 5 years of experience in a residential school). Receptionist, Store Keeper and lab Assistant
•House parents: For boys and girls hostel

Since Kimberley is a residential school, all the vacancies except Administrative Staff are residential. Candidates with experience in an international residential school will be preferred.
