Applications are invited for one (1) post of a Senior Research Fellow in a
CSIR sponsored R&D project entitled, “Optimized Production of
Bioethanol and Biohydrogen from Lignocellulosic Biomass in A
Fluidized-Bed Reactor” at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT
Guwahati. The appointment will be on contract basis for one year, may be
extended based on performance.
Qualification and Experience: B. Tech (Chemical or Biochemical
Engineering or Equivalent), M. Sc (Chemistry) with two years of post-
BTech/MSc experience as evidenced from published papers in standard
refereed journals or M. Tech (Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or
Equivalent). MSc candidates having valid Gate score or NET qualification
will be preferred. Candidate with good exposure to biofuels will also be
preferred.
Pay: Rs. 14000/- (consolidated, per month) +HRA + Medical facilities as
per Institute rules.
