i) Degree holders in Mining Engineering are recruited as Mining Graduate Trainee (MGT) in E1 grade for a period of ONE YEAR. During the training period, the trainee will be required to acquire the Certificates, such as First Aid, Gas Testing, in order to get themselves qualified for obtaining Second Class Exemption Certificate.
ii) On successful completion of ONE YEAR training as MGT, he will be designated as Graduate Mining Engineer (GME) in E2 grade for a period of ONE YEAR.
iii) In case GME submits SMMC Certificate, he will be appointed as UNDER MANAGER in E-2 grade from the date he is eligible to work as Second Class Manager as mentioned in the body of the Certificate of SMMC or from the date he designated as GME, whichever is later.
iv) On completion of ONE YEAR as GME (E2), he will be given a grace period of ONE YEAR for submission of SMMC Certificate for appointment as Under Manager (E-2). However, date of appointment as Under Manager will be from the date of receipt of SMMC Certificate in the office of General Manager (Personnel).
v) If GME fails to submit SMMC Certificate during the grace period of ONE YEAR (i.e. after completion of training as GME), the services of such GME will be terminated in case of external candidate and reverted to substantive post in case of internal candidate.
