Reserve Bank of India RBI Recruitment 2011 for Officers in Grade B

The central banking institution of India which controls the monetary policy and currency is Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ). It was setup on 1st April 1935 with the head quarter in Mumbai. RBI is owned by the Government of India. It also supervise all the financial companies of India. At present, it has 22 regional offices and 6 training institutes. It is the best bank and also recognized as a necessary as well as an important bank of India.

Reserve Bank of India is looking for candidates having best qualification and experience according to the requirement of the advertisement as published in its official website. For this, RBI invites applications for the post of Officers under grade B. Candidates with citizenship of India can only apply ONLINE and that too latest by 26th September 2011. But candidates can also apply OFFLINE latest by 3rd October 2011.
 
Total 75 vacancies are available for the post of Officers in Grade ‘ B ‘. Out of this, 38 posts are for general category, 9 are for St, 10 are for SC and rest 18 are for OBC candidates. This post is under direct recruitment. Candidates applying for this post should be less than 21 years and even not more than 30 years of age. Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks OR masters degree with 55% marks is required for the above post.
 
Selection will be based on objective type written test and after that interview. Examination will be in two phase, that is phase I and phase II. Phase I will be of objective type and Phase II will be of descriptive type. Paper of phase I will be held on 18th December 2011 while phase II will be in March / April 2012.
Selected candidates will get starting basic salary of Rs. 21000/- per month under the pay scale of Rs. 21000 – 36400/-.
